Crews need to find the relevant operations manual, SOP or company procedure among documents that can be difficult to navigate.
Operations manuals, SOPs and company procedures can span many documents. Finding a passage is one task; checking which document it comes from and reading the surrounding conditions is another. AnaDoc starts from that practical need.
The direction we are exploring
AnaDoc is planned for operator documentation: operations manuals, SOPs, company minima and procedures. Personal licences, medicals and ratings stay in AnaLog.
What we want to make clearer
These are design intentions for the planned product, not features available today.
Operator documentation
The planned scope covers operations manuals, standard operating procedures, company minima and other operator procedures.
The relevant passage
The aim is to help crews reach the information they need while keeping its source document and surrounding context accessible.
Clear boundaries
A document tool must support consultation of the applicable reference. It does not create a procedure, approve a decision or replace the operator’s controlled documentation.
Its place in ANA
AnaDoc addresses operator documentation. Personal licences, medical certificates and ratings remain part of AnaLog. AnaOps is intended to address preparation for a particular flight. These are distinct roles within the future suite.
